Emory Team Wins Grand Prize At Campus Moviefest

This past weekend Atlanta based Campus Moviefest just concluded their International Grand Finale in Las Vegas. Over the years the finale has grown into an ever more impressive event that's really designed to give the students involved a unique experience. You'd think they'd just be content with an event that boasts having nearly half a million students participate each year. Keeping up the ATL connect, a two man directing team from Emory University, Matt Fennell and Matt Ryckman, took the top prize with their period piece THE GERSTEIN REPORT. I got to see this film at the Atlanta Grand Finale back in the spring and it's an amazing short film. Not to be bias, but, every other year there seems to be a team from Emory or GA Tech that decides to produce some extra, extra and to take advantage of Campus Moviefest's platform to showcase their work.
