Andrea Zoppo’s grandfather survived the Holocaust. Her mother became a clown despite her parents’ wishes and hopes. Both of these people have heavily influenced Andrea, or “Miss Ladybug” the clown! Laura Asherman knew this family’s story would make a great film, and the resulting short “Smile Little Ladybug” recently premiered at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. Andrea and Laura hop on the show to talk about the making of the film from both sides of the camera, the world of clowning, and much more!
