I don’t know about you, but storyboard artists always seem like an extra mysterious aspect of the filmmaking world. They have to have a crazy mix of storytelling, artistry, directing, character design, and a ton of other stuff going on to adequately convey what the production needs.

Mark Simon is one of the best, and he’s here in Atlanta now working on The Walking Dead! In this interview we discuss how he broke in the industry (and how you can too!), meeting all his comic strip heroes, and how to pitch your own projects and kickstart your own career!
