Sometimes we go out in public! A couple weeks ago we traveled to the Defoor Centre for Get Connected & Indie Film Loop's Film, Music, and Entertainment Industry BBQ. We had a lot of fun interviewing attendees including directors, hair stylists, actors, writers, and more. These events are always a great way to make new friends and we made a ton! In this episode you'll hear from:

Al Scott, Hair Stylist
Anthony Morgali, Video and Film Producer
Mark Drum, Post Production
Tamara Braxton, Mrs. Dekalb
LaGuana 'LA' Albarracin, Hair & Makeup
Mackleen Desravines, Producer & Writer
Doryan Sparkman, Cinematographer & Editor
Nyisha Bell, Actor
Chris Royster, Manager

Thanks to Autumn Bailey-Ford and Deontae Trundle for having us out and we look forward to the next one. Stay tuned for part 2 of our interviews next week!

This Wednesday, June 13th, head to General Assembly Atlanta in Ponce City Market for the THEA Movie Makers Panel! Chuck and several others from the ATL film business will be speaking about working in the city, entering the industry, working with others, and more. Plus it's free! The event starts at 6 PM and the panel kicks off at 7 PM.

Chuck's novel Brine is out! It tells the story of Tam, who lives in tiny Sylvester, Georgia. As a child, she almost drowned in the ocean and has had nightmares ever since. Twenty years later she makes another trip to get over her fears...and that's when the tentacles sprout from her skin. You can pick it up wherever e-books are sold, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Google Play, and iTunes Books!
