Ken Horstmann & Jody Thompson From High Cotton Come on Atlanta Film Chat

Have you given to any indie film Kickstarter/crowdfunding campaigns? Most of the time you're giving money to them to make the film. However, High Cotton, a Southern Gothic revenge film, has already been shot, and they're now raising money to get the movie out to the public.

Naturally though we wildly veered off into different tangents. We talked about Jody's career that involves films like Selma, The Blind Side, and The Founder, Ken's previous film and how he approached this movie, the Atlanta film scene explosion, and a ton more!

Also, the day this goes up, June 29th, they're hoping to be Indiewire's Project of the Month, so go vote! Check their Facebook page for more info.

Film Bar Mondays tonight June 29th might involve a cookout since it's the 5th week. Check out the link for the latest information. Next week July 6th we start over at The Independent.
