When you think of an "indie film" you generally think of a minimal location drama with a handful of characters. You likely don't think of an epic thriller with 40+ locations, a ton of characters, and something along the lines you'd see in a multiplex during the summer. But that's exactly what the filmmakers behind blackhats set out to make: not your typical indie.
Eddie Singleton (writer/producer), Bennie Swint (producer), Martin Kelley (writer/producer) came on the show to tell us and guest co-host Dustin Jacobs all about making the film. The best part: after you listen to the episode you can catch blackhats at the Aurora Theater in Roswell starting this Friday October 23rd!
