Sunday, March 16 - Hammonds House in West Atlanta hosted the IndieGoGo launch event for "The Lonnie Holley Story". Atlanta based filmmaker George King has been following the self-taught artist, turned musician, for two decades. King is raising an initial $30,000 by April 26 to finish the film. Saturday, March 22 - Contraband Cinema presented works from glitch artists at Beep Beep Gallery. Glitch artists "use a wide array of new and old technologies to rebel against the hyper-slick and glossy world of contemporary media." "Using their VCR's binary code, circuit boards, gaming consoles and video mixers, they strive to find the soul of the machine while showing viewers that broken is beautiful!"
